“Oh…” A serene smile crossed Spongebob’s face. “Now the lights will look even prettier,” he said softly, giving Squidward an idea as to what he’d been entranced by. Looking at that expression was a mistake – Squidward’s heart gave such a hard lurch it nearly felt like someone had just stabbed him. Oh, Neptune, that face. He really would have to stop soon, he was getting much too distracted by how frustratingly cute Spongebob was.

“Is that what’s got you so quiet?” Squidward asked in an equally gentle tone.

“It’s all so nice to look at… And now I get to listen to the rain, too.”

this thing took an insanely long time, omfg. it’s so dumb but i’m kinda a little proud of it ngl. this isn’t the full resolution… the actual canvas is like 9500x7000 so like nothing would let me upload it?? so i cut down the resolution a bit to upload it to imgur, then cut it down by half to upload it to tumblr because tumblr sucks. i linked the imgur version to the pic so y’all can see it in slightly better quality :/

here’s my summer picture! and it’s on time, too! yay me! my spongebob/pokemon crossover AU is really fun to play with. spongebob’s primarina is named viva, and squidward’s milotic is named valentino :D they’re having a fun day at the beach, and valentino and squidward are secretly admiring viva and spongebob respectively from afar B) i think they live in the alolan region, or close to it or something… i haven’t decided entirely yet how things work. i’ll see. i’ll try to work it out by the time i’m done that pokemon AU comic. for now, here, have this lmao

the birthday episode was AMAZING. i loved it so much!!! we had a couple of nice squidbob moments too B) AND WE GOT TO SEE SOME OF THE MUSICAL CAST AT THE END AAAAAAAHHHHHHHH GOSH OMGG i screamed and my dad was like “???? what happened” and my mom was like “it’s the musical cast!!!” and it was lovely

speaking of the musical, i got my tickets for the show in NY in september :DDD i’m so excited and so nervous omgggggg

in other news, in terms of art, i have like a 15+ page comic in the works of my pokemon/spongebob crossover AU and it’s dumb and idk if i can manage to finish it but i’m trying lmao. i also have a few other WiPs but idk when they’ll get done T_T hopefully soon…

oh, and to the last anon: i’m not entirely sure what you mean, but if you’re asking what drawing program i use, i currently use paint tool sai. :) i’m considering switching to clip studio, though… i just have to actually learn how to use it lol.

this is the last finished one i have so far. i just did this like… a couple days ago. i’d wanted to draw his ever since i first saw the musical, because watching spongebob “try on” pearl’s dresses was too precious and i needed it in my life. i know the dress isn’t perfect and isn’t exactly like the one in the musical, but the ref i had wasn’t great so i just kinda winged it. couldn’t decide on a lipstick color, so i mixed coral blue no.5 with pink.

i drew this for valentine’s day. i hate it omfg

like it sort of turned out mildly okay but certain parts are like “yikes how did i manage that”

this is my beautiful spongebob OC, mako alana <3 he works at a strip club in bass vegas and he is So Fine. i’m still not sure if i want to keep all of his markings or if i should get rid of some, but regardless, he is my baby and i love him very much

i’m rather confused as to why i never posted this???? this is an older picture i drew – it’s a scene from my RP with @salvagedmoose . the gang went to bass vegas and squidward and spongebob went out to eat at a nice restaurant called scarpetta. squidward confessed to caring for him as a best friend and spongebob was shocked to his core… and so incredibly happy :D

i drew this and then my friend shaded it, so that’s the only reason the shading looks good – cause i didn’t do it LMAO
